Asking the Right Questions

Somewhat recently, I read a book called Afformations. The thesis of the book is that we much too often ask ourselves the wrong questions.

Am I good enough? Why don't I ever make enough money? Will I ever get ahead?

If you notice, those questions are quite negative. They are disempowering even. They encourage your brain to find answers to these negative questions.

What if instead, you asked yourself positive questions?

Why am I always good enough? How did I make all the money that I need and more? Why was it so easy for me to get ahead?

Notice the shift in perspective there. Now the question assumes what you want is already true. You encourage your mind to find answers to these positive questions instead. Try it out for a while. Maybe you find a slight shift in perspective can make all the difference!
